Hi,

I have some stocks and ETFs in US brokerage account. The broker is allowing me to keep my account in US with Canada address on it.
  1. If I do that, then after moving to Canada, will taxes be withhold by IRS (US tax agency)?
  2. Are there any pro/cons to keep using US brokerage account? vs moving everything to a Canada based broker?
Thanks

On the first point, I can say with confidence that taxes will be withheld without fail. If you are engaged in trading, then you definitely need to be aware of events. For example, using https://newtonadvisor.com/benzinga-pro-review /. The Benzinga Pro news feed is at the heart of this service. The feed mainly includes headlines from BZ Wire, a telegraph service from the financial news provider Benzinga. In addition, you can include press releases from various sources, as well as SEC announcements in the feed. Enjoy it.
