Still No update received !!!!

I have sent my application on about 6 months ago and still I haven't recived any update. The important thing is that my bank draft will expire in next week and the CIC havent encashed it yet. They havn't replied to my email that I have sent about one and half months ago. I have tried to call them and that does not worked either. My first attempt that I have made in Janauary was rejected and this is my second attempt. What should be my next step.

Better re-post your query in the appropriate forum i.e. category under which you've applied for immigration to Canada.

6 months is too long a wait in my opinion. I believe if you do not get a response in 4 months, you should reapply assuming the CAP is still available.

I would recommend you arrange for a new app and submit it at the earliest since 2281 will still be open as of now.

But before you proceed you should take a closer look at try to figure out if there were any potential flags in your last application package.

When was your application delivered ? Which courier service you used ? And did you get any acknowledgement from courier company for successful delivery ?

In most cases DHL/FedEx would provide you name and signature of who received the envelop. I can see that people whos application were received on 23rd June are now getting acknowledgements through credit card transection.

My Origina IELTS result sheet is along with it. It was rejected because the cap was full.

you can get a duplicate IELTS result from test centre. I asked here in Oman where I appeared for exam , they told me that you need to pay some amount and we will give you another result sheet. I asked if that result sheet would say Duplicate etc and she said no and it will look exact same like the one given before to you after passing exam .

Apart from that when you sent the application did someone signed that after receiving ? you can check that in the Tracking website of aramex

Guys im planning to apply under 2281 too and im expecting to send my app by 15th Nov, do you think i'll make it within the CAP, pls advise. Also anything specific i can do to avoid this 6 months wait time?

2281 will still be worth a shot in November. Which 6 months wait are you referring to ?

One of our friends on their initial post said its been 6 moths and no CC / DD charge and PER. SO wanted to check if i could do anything specific to avoid that.

yes. I can confirmed that the package was well recived. Is there any special way to check without calling or emailing them . Because none of those two does not worked for me.

same here. my app was receivd may 14 but no news nor returnd app. dd wil expire 10-24-14.

Same situation. My application is received on May 26th under the NOC 2171. Till now My CC is not charged. I checked in ECAS, it shows no file found. I have sent a mail to CIC on Sep 18th and there no reply till now. Any suggestions are much appreciated.
