Step Wise Procedures of Attestation For WES of Metric, Inter & HEC

For Intermediate certificate attestation for WES please go to room number 11(inside the room not at the counter). You have to make a demand draft/pay order of $15 in favor of Secretary - Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi and have to submit an application (print/handwritten) which states the reason for attestation. You have to attach the CNIC/Passport/NICOP and the WES transcript request form.

For Matric certificate attestation for WES please go to room number 21/22(please confirm with the guards/clerk about the room number). You have to submit an application (print/handwritten) which states the reason for attestation and have to attach the CNIC/Passport/NICOP, 2 photocopy of certificate and the WES transcript request form. The fees is PKR 550.


For Transcript/Marksheet

Intermediate - Go to room 24 and submit the form along with copy of transcript and CNIC. Kindly request the person to seal it in envelop while receiving your attested transcript. ( next day fees 750, 5 days fees 210, 15 days 110)

Matric - Go to counter 11 and submit the form along with 2 copy of transcript and CNIC. After receiving of your attested transcript go to room 47 for sealing it in envelop ( 10 days fees 500, 20 days 300)

I hope this will help people who are opting WES option and make things easier and faster for them.

What to submit: Certificate of Examination (Secondary)
How to submit: To be sent directly to WES in the manner specified for this country
What was submitted: Photocopy
Status: X Not Acceptable, Resubmit document(s) according to WES requirements

Can anyone guide me as i am trying to contact WES since last 5 days but no response even though i sent my documents exactly on same manner as were required by WES

did u got the photocopies attested fron the board and sent them in the envelope provided by the board. if yes then you did everthing right. Just call them and tell them about it.

hi mish, thanks for your reply. i will arrange B.A certificate and tell me that i have attested copies from ibcc and ralevent board and attested matric certificate and attested inter mark sheet. do i need inter certificate for fsw1?

The photocopy must be signed by the Controller Examination or Secretary and the envelop should be sealed. stamped and signed by the board representative. If all the above requirements are met then WES will accept it otherwise they will ask you to resubmit it. The transcript request form (WES one) is not mandatory to be attached with attested copies.

My status was first Waiting for required documents. When they got my docs it got changed to Documents Received - Review in progress

After 2 days it again said waiting for required documents. So i called them and told them that according to DHL courier my all documents were delivered to WES on 12th, i gave them the tracking number, upon which the operator said that give us 24-48 hours. So after 2 days the status got changed to Documents Received - Review in progress...

Now today it again got changed to Waitng for required documents..

I just dont know whats wrong with WES, it has to be the most unprofessional international organization i have ever come across. Its customer service is also poor, and they have wasted a lot of my time.

Has anyone faced the same problem??

First you need to confirm that they have yet send or not, its Pakistan, may be they are still on someones table. How much fee you paid for Courier? if you paid arround 1600 then itc TCS, you can contact Board's TCS office and try to find your tracking id and use that to track your courier status.
If not paid any courier fee then it would be Pakistan Post, in that case it may take much time, may be month or so....
here no once can give you better idea better then the board itself, so contact someone there

then you can use Quaid-e-Azam's photo power as someone also referred me before
he said Quaid itney powerful naheen they jitni un ki photo powerful hey, that can do anything
(according to me, if the system has so much corrupt that its impossible to get your legal right then you can use this power, but if you feel this is wrong then don't go for this)

Dear Samsaf29,

I did not send any document with the WES transcript request form and all of them are accepted by WES. The only thing they want that their requirement should be meet which can be summarized as following

Degree

• It must be from one of the university from their university list
• If from Pakistan, then the photocopy of Transcript and Degree must be attested by HEC and sealed in an envelop. The envelop should be signed too.

Intermediate

• Any of the thing i.e. Marksheet or Certificate would suffice their requirement
• The only requirement for this document for acceptance is that it should be attested by Controller/Asst. Controller Examination of respective board and must be in Board official envelop with seal and signature on it

I hope that this helps in making things simpler for everyone who is opting WES.

Note

• If you already have HEC attested photocopies then go for WES as they will prepare the ECA in 10 working days. You then only require Intermediate document which can maximum take 2 to 3 days.
• If you dont have HEC attested photocopies then go for CES, UoT as they require degree documents from University in sealed envelop and not from HEC or Intermediate board but their timeline is not confirmed
• Use FedEx/DHL/UPS/TNT as courier

Is your board in Karachi ? If yes, then I am not sure about what courier company they used. The Intermediate/Matric board usually use Pakistan Post for sending documents unless specified. You have to contact the section/room where you submitted documents. On the other hand you should not have ask the board to mail your document.
