Hi folks,
Can i invite my step mother on visit visa. My father is a permanent resident as he live back home with her. My father can sponser her but first he does not have any job in Canada and also this will take time long time.

Any possible actions can I take.?

Any advice would be highly appreciated

Sure - you can invite her.

Thanks for the reply. But how this is possible as i dont have any blood relationship with her.

As per cic you need to have a blood relation ship.

Please clarify it this is really imp for us this can unite our family again.

Thanks,

Faraz

Hi,

As per cic you need to have a blood relation ship.
This is only for PR sponsorship under Family Class.

You can invite your step-mom..... do submit a copy of the marriage certificate of your dad and step-mom + birth certificate of yourself (for your dad's name) + any correspondence between you and your step-mom.... along with other documents as the host.

Your step-mom must prove strong ties to her home country especially as your dad is already a PR

Cheers

so based on said above she can come on super visa(parent/grandparent) as well right?
No, you cannot apply for a super visa for your step-mom..... because for a super visa, you must prove that she is your parent (for example, your birth certificate).

You can only invite her on a TRV
