I am a PR of Canada during 10 years. My PRC is going to be expired in 2016. I have to go to my home country for several months because of some family reasons. How long I can stay outside of Canada to keep my PR status? Thank you!
You can stay outside Canada for up to 1095 days in any 5 year period. It is always the past 5 years so if you look at the date you intend to return and count 5 years backwards from that date, you can not have been outside more than 1095 days.
