I'm about to start my application for the Quebec Skilled Worker Programme and I'm looking for some answers.
A bit of backstory: I'm currently living in Montreal on a Canadian International Experience visa and I've been working here for a year and a half.
I only have 6 months left on the CIE, which isn't enough time for the application to be processed. While my QSWP application is being processed, am I able to continue working here legally? If not, can I leave the country and return here if my application is successful?
Also, I'm applying for a spouse too, but my spouse is American, living in America, while I'm from New Zealand. Will this have any affect on the application? Will he be able to get an open work permit if my application is successful?
