I would like to ask wheather there is a possibility for me and my husband to stay in Canada while the permanent visa is still in process?. If yes, then what are the conditions and other accompanying details.

You'll need to provide further details like how you have applied for PR (through which stream), when you applied and what the status of your application is, if you are already in Canada and if so what your status is.

We havent applied yet. Just finished writing our ielts exam. We currently stay in India and do not wish to stay hear during the waiting process

In that case your options are really quite limited and there's nothing available that can guarantee you can stay in Canada while your application is processed..

You can apply for a TRV to come to Canada as visitors. However a TRV doesn't allow you to move to Canada - all you can do is visit temporarily. You also cannot work on a TRV, cannot attend school and will not be covered under Canada's health care system.
