Statutory letter need to be on stamp paper?

Hello guys,
My husband is the primary applicant and as suggested by seniors of this group .. I should write a statutory letter in which we mention the my funds are available for our immigration purpose. As I have funds in my account which is only on my name.

Now my question is does this letter has to be on a stamp paper? Or it can be on simple paper with witness signs?
