I originally applied for a closed work permit online, but as processing was taking longer than normal, I flew to the border where I was told there was already an approval pending, and that because an approval was already attached the job offer number, I couldn't withdraw it for him to issue me a permit at the POE. So he let me in as a visitor to flagpole once the POE letter. If I'm here, does that count as an update in IRCC eyes that would be important enough to get through the Webform / IRCC Help line?
