Status shows Medicals needed but Applicant did not receive the mail?

Hello

Thank you for this wonderful community through which I was able to find some information regarding my parents application.

I (the sponsor) received the AOR on 3rd April 2019 for an Application sent in September 2018. Since then, there has been no communication to myself nor my parents.

Getting concerned I tried to link the Application but I wasn't able to. The Helpdesk couldn't help me since I'm not a Representative on the Application. I opened an account with the Applicant name and same issue. I sent off a query from his Account and awaiting a reply.

In the meantime, due to this wonderful community I was able to get the status through E-CAS tool and was shocked to know that Medical Instructions were sent to the Applicant in April 2019. My parents who reside in India did not receive this communication neither through postal mail nor through email.

What is my recourse since it's past 5 months since the supposed medical instructions? Could someone please advise me on how to go about it?

Assume there is an issue and contact CIC on phonec or webform so you can get document todo the medical.
 
Thank you for your reply. I contacted ircc on webform and they said I will be informed when a decision has been made. Should I contact on webform again. They are also checking eligibility and background check rn.

Did your spouse ever do a medical? It is good for 1 year. Did you ask CIC about the medical when you submitted the webform?
 
Thank you for your reply. My spouse did a medical but I think it has expired. I didnt ask cic about the medical when I submitted the webform.

Would contact them specifically about the medical and say that you never received any form of communication. You know that a medical is needed but you need the medical request you haven’t received.
 
Thank you for your reply. I contacted them via webform and asked when I will receive the letter of requisition for medical exam and the document request as I havent received the request letter as of yet. They should respond soon.

I have heard some others have also not received the request. It is a rare situation. Make sure they have your correct email and address as well. Assume you have been monitoring your spam folder.
 
Thank you for your reply. They currently have my lawyers email and mailing address on file so all correspondence is sent to my lawyers office. As such I am waiting to hear from my lawyers office. Maybe they are still checking eligibility and background check status and that's why they havent sent it yet.

The fact that there is a message in your CIC file makes e think that the instructions to do your medicals was missed by someome or was accidently sent to the wrong address.
 
Thank you for your reply. The message in my cic file says that we will send you a letter or request for medical exam. So they acknowledge that they still havent sent the correspondence. Does that mean they will still send the requisition to me. And how long will it take.

that is very different scenario. They haven’t requested a medical yet. Yes you should get a request eventually.
