Status on BOWP application from "On Hold" to blank - what happened?

Hi guys,

I hope some of you can help me with this question. Last week my BOWP application changed to On Hold. But I checked right now and where it was written On Hold last week is blank now.

What could be going on?

Hmm, now it changed (back? I don't remember what was here before it went blank) to 'We are processing..." and the background check went to "Not Available" but my Background check on PR application is still on "We are processing..."

Isn't it the same bg check for both?

Mine is still blank.
I don't think they should be the same because they are different types of visa.

My BOWP was approved! So fingers crossed it going blank means they are close to a positive decision for you too!

My application status has also been blank since August 17, does anybody know what this means????

I've tried searching on forums and could not find an answer.

Send them an email, this might be a technical glitch.

The BOWP cannot be processed until you pass the completeness check - after you pass the R10 completeness check (or if your application is deemed incomplete), the status will change. Not sure why it goes blank, tho.

After almost 5 months, they approved my application. But thanks.

Hi,
I am Dec 2016 PNP paper based applicant. My work permit is going to expire on Oct 2017. I applied BOWP on June 10 and I waited till august 31 no confirmation and called CIC they told me my R10 completeness check is "on hold"

I forget to attach EMAIL AOR which I got it on March 04, 2017. But recently I attached it with IRCC webform and the notified to Cic customer care and he made a note in my application so that he mentioned VO will look it later.

Got AOR on march 04 and RRPF on April 5th 2017 and paid the fee on the same day, why my R10 is not passed till now. After getting AOR it completed more than 6 months till now why it is in hold.

Does VO reviewed my application and I didn't attached AOR that is the reason my R10 completeness check is on hold or the reason with my PR application.
