Status " In Process "

Hi Forum,

Can any senior tell me how much time it will take once the file is "In Process" to get the PPR request...

Below are my updates in ECAS

We received your application for permanent residence on May 17, 2011.

We started processing your application on January 10, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

( Medical received has been updated in my E-cas on Nov 17th 2011)

Please help me as i am very very eagerly waiting for my PR.

It took me just couple days to get PPR after "In process". You r close.

I am May 27/11 applicant. On my ecas it is not showing that my application is in process, but an email from CIC in Sept 2011 said "to continue processing your application for PR you are required to submit RCMP finger print check". This email I recieved even before getting medical request. Today I recieved an email saying "we have recieved your medical results and your application is in queue for review and no action is required from you". I don't know how long it will take to get PPR.

I am a June 2011 applicant. They have started processing my file on Jan 5th, 2012. Does anyone know how long do they usually take to process the application?

Big Question....

For Ottawa files i guess they are taking good time after the case is put in "in Process".

Can some experience guys here can tell there experience of Ottawa State change..

how long do you guys think it will take, and should I wait to pay the remaining fee or pay it now?

Hi Draxz,

Where is your file, if it is in Buffalo you will receive PPR by Monday or Tuesday max or you might have received by the time i am posting this note.

If your file is in Ottawa i guess they are taking time after the status is in "In process"

My status has been IN PROCESS since end of September.

My address disappeared last week on Friday. Hoping for some good news soon. It has been a long wait.

Any other experience are helpful to know our final timelines

Please let me know if any one status is changed to "In Process " in Dec and Jan got there PPR request and whose file is in Ottawa, i am very eagerly waiting and very much tense on my PPR request.

Just 10 min before i got a response from the Ottawa office about my case specific question about my status

Dear applicant,

Our records indicate that your application has met all of the eligibility requirements of the Canadian experience class. Our Office or the Consulate General in Buffalo will forward you instructions shortly regarding the final steps of your application.

Congrats!!! When did you send the case enquiry to them? I am also planning to send an email to Buffalo office.

Yesterday evening at 8.30 Pm i have send them the mail and i got response today at 9.20 AM. They are very fast in responding the mail.
