Hello!
I applied for PR on April 18th, 2016 using my Provincial Nominee. My work permit expires on February 7th, 2017 therefore I know my application won't be finalize by the time my work permit expires. I was looking how to extend my work permit and I can't figure out what this is:

Statement from the province that identifies the job and employer and states that:
• you are urgently needed by your employer who has offered you a job in that province or territory
• the job offer is genuine and will create economic benefits or opportunities,
• the employment is not part-time or seasonal, and
• the wages and working conditions of the employment would be sufficient to attract and retain Canadian citizens.

How can I obtain this letter? Who do I contact? (ps: I reside in Saskatchewan)

Second question: because I was nominated by the province I did not need a LMIA. My boss register at the employee portal and paid the fee last year when I applied for my WP. Does my boss need to do this process all over again so I can extend my work permit?

Thank you guys!

Hi,

I may have to face the same situation. Have you figured out how to get the statement?

Thanks

you can use your PNP work permit support letter, it should come along with nomination letter
