I have spent 6.5 months in US on H1b in New York and returned back and have never entered again. Now i have filed for Application for PR as my spouse is Canadian Citizen. My question is related to Police clearance certificate from the US.
I have already filed for FBI clearance but i just wanna know shall i file for the state clearance as well. As far as cic website goes it says they will let me know in case it needs state clearance. I just wanna know shall i go ahead and file for state clearance as well where as it is clearly stated in the CIC website
