• The Canadian government plans to change the composition of its permanent-resident (PR) admissions so that a larger share come through the “economic” stream (skilled workers, those selected for job/labour-market reasons) instead of family, humanitarian or other categories.
• Specifically, right now about 59 % of PR admissions are in the economic category. The budget says that over the next three years the goal is to raise that share to about 64 %.

Yes, the Start-Up Visa does fall under the economic immigrant stream of Canada’s permanent resident program.

I see the Immigration level plan for the next coming year 2026 of the Economic class is 239,800. But it doesn't mention the correct quota for our SUV application.
We are looking for the update from your side @Fiat@fifo.

Pending are 43200 plus

43200 suv + 8600 self employed = 51800 in total /. 500 per year = 103.6 years

Need some help.

We already applied for startup visa around 3 years ago. But our incubator is non priority.

If we get commitment from another priority-incubator/angle-investor, would IRCC consider it i.e. can we update our application with web-form.

They just do not want to refund anything. They did it in 2014, so I believe they were not really happy about it after.

They may refund if they havent started your application yet.
If they started processing it, then they will refund you in the case that IRCC cancel or suspend the application
