I'm applying for my husband's PR application (he is in the Dominican Republic). His birth certificate has a stamp on the back of it stating that the signature has been certified by the Central Civil Registry Office, however, my step-daughter's birth certificate does not have this stamp. Is it necessary for her birth certificate to have this stamp? (We will not be applying for her Permanent Residency at this time, but we would like to do so in the future.)
