Stage 1 from Ottawa Pilot?

Hi all,

I got stage 1 sponsor approval today but the email came from OttPilot-Immigration (I sent to Mississauga). I am a first time applicant (no appeal) and I'm wondering if the fact that stage 1 came from the Pilot has any bearing or effect on the rest of the process. The email said my file was transferred to my partner's local visa office.

Does having stage 1 done at OttPilot have any effect on anything.. or does this just.. happen sometimes. I know we waited a little longer for stage 1 as a result (most of Aug was finished before I heard anything and I applied pretty early in Aug)... but other than that, any differences?

No it wont have any effect.I received email as Stage 1 approval from OttPilot email as well and its common.I assume if the work load is increased at Mississauga they transfer the applications to Ottawa for processing within the Time Frame listed on cic.gc.ca website.Nothing to worry about this..Good luck with Stage 2
