Are you already thinking about when you'll be able to apply for citizenship? I created a spreadsheet to keep track of my progress.

I list every trip abroad and this spreadsheet calculates when I'll be eligible to apply. It documents my trips and it'll be easier to show evidence of my time in Canada and list all my trips when the application time comes.

(I have completed 77% of the time required in Canada, for instance )

HERE IS THE SPREADSHEET: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_o57wpmWAvbIkUewsxFqn03BgwYvt0LTkT_WIIMVb_U/edit#gid=2040977597

How to use
Create a copy of the document (do not request permission to edit).
List all your entries and exits, as well as your status.
Obviously, remove my example trips.

How accurate is this?
I followed the official rules for calculating time spent in Canada.
- Maximum of 365 days as non-PR counted towards citizenship
- Each day as non-PR counted as half day
- Minimum of 1095 days in the last 5 years
- Day of arrival and departure do not count as absence

Reminder that this is a tool to assist you, but you're ultimately responsible for counting your own time in Canada. Please let me know if you find any bugs.

Cheers!
