My Spouse wants to study in Canada one year. I live in Canada, I'm a citizen. He does not have status in Canada; he lives overseas.
We are not planning a PR spousal sponsorship at this time, because he must return to employment overseas, in his home country,
when the one year of study is completed.
Can an International Student, with a Canadian spouse who lives in Canada, apply for a Student Visa; or can he only apply for
Spousal Sponsorship?
Our plan is that once he completes his study and returns home to work, I will follow him shortly after and we'll spend a few
years there, as he continues to pursue his career, and I get to know everybody there. Then we can apply for PR Spousal Sponsorship
application when we are ready to move back to Canada.
