Hi -
I applied for my spouse visa from India and after her Biometrics, it's been 4 months I haven't heard back on any update from IRCC. It shows the max time is 24 weeks. do we need to wait till the time.
Also is it okay to raise a visitor visa in parallel, is that advisable. Thank in Advance

There is no such thing as a spouse visa and no such thing as maximum processing time. Do you mean a SOWP? What is your stays in Canada?

What NOC and when does it expire? Is this a new marriage and how much time have you spent in person over how many visits?

We are newly married (1 year) and I moved to Canada in in Sep 2024. My visa has validity till 2027 Sep. While we are in India, my spouse open work permit process got started and she gave her biometrics in oct -2024 after that we haven't heard back from IRCC
