What are the current processing times for Spousal PR? I am planning to sponsor my wife next month. I have a Canadian PR.
Right now I would say it's longer than a year due to COVID-19. Hard to say how that will change with the announcement RCC has made. I think they will probably aim to bring processing back down to approximately 12 months.

I had heard its 10-12 months right now. Hoping with the new initiative, it comes down to 6 months. I have known people that got it in 2-3 months too!

My husband's application was processed in 3 months but that was 10 years ago.

We are seeing many on this forum people waiting over a year right now and very delayed AOR. In my personal opinion 2-3 months is extremely unlikely in the near future. I think IRCC will be aiming to keep 80% of applications at 12 months or less.

Agree with scylla, it won't be 2-3 months. I've seen a lot of newer applications processed in around 8-10 months, that seems to be their target with the new announcement. I don't think it will come down to 6 months soon, maybe late next year once they get their new infrastructure going.
