spouse visa from india to canada

Hello,
i have applied for pr on sep 17th 2018.Done medical on dece 5th.After that I don't see any update on my application.Every time I call CIC {1(888)242-2100},it only says
.we are reviewing your eligibility
.u passed medical
.we do not need additional documents
.we do not need interview
.we do not need fingerprint
.your background check has not started yet
A friend of mine who has done medical after mine got her visa and her husband is PR holder and my husband is a canadian citizen.

I am getting bit anxious day by day as it is already been 7 months now. is there anyone here having same problem as me?

Ircc has advised that applications can take upti 12 months or more. No two applications are the same and shouldnt be compared. You are still well within processing times
