Can sometimes take 4-5 months. One spouse can leave before the rest of the family if the employer needs the worker to start working. You seem to have been waiting a long time. I would make sure you are still needed by your employer before you relocate. Some workers arrive and discover they aren’t needed anymore and get laid off.
