Thanks in adavance for my queries related information, I am in Canada on work permit. And I applied for OWP for my spouse. Its biometric done in march 2021. But no progress after it. My WP is getting expire after 3 months. So I have some below queries.
1) Would CIC team will give my spouse visa in upcoming days or they will just reject it, beacuse my visa is getting expired in Oct 2020?
2) My company is applying for my work permit extension with in 1-2 weeks. So before CIC reject my spouse OWP. Would they check my work permit extenion application,
in that case, would they give OWP to my spouse?
3) As I am appliying for work permit extension, I have one thought in mind, can i cancel my spouse OWP application, and apply new OWP/Visitor application along with my WP extenion application. Would CIC team consider WP extension (primary application) and a fresh spouse's OWP/Visitor visa together. ? Becuase I am in Canada and she is in India.
4) Currently spouse OWP application processin time is 19 weeks. and visitor visa time processing time is 412 days. Can I use point #3 for my spouse visa?
Please provide some guidance on these queries.
