Hello forum,
My dad was married and that’s how he got his PR, but he signed something (doesn’t remember) that said he can’t marry my mom.. the thing is now they got back together and want to get married so my dad can sponsor her but he’s afraid that’s gonna cost him his PR. Does it really exist or existed a law that prohibits you from marrying an ex-spouse? Thank you for your time

It's really impossible for any of us to comment without knowing the full details of how he applied for PR, what he signed exactly, etc.
