Hi,
I have just received PR and I am planning to land in Canada in February 2018 as my deadline to reach Canada ends on 23rd Feb. However, my marriage is fixed and I am planning to return back to India for my marriage in March, once I get my PR card. I will be sponsoring my husband's PR once I return to Canada after the wedding. But on the CIC website it says it will atleast take 1 year for processing the application. So, I thought of filing his TRV in the meanwhile. Is this a good idea? Will he get a TRV, as Immigration officer may feel he will not have intentions to return back? Also, he applied for TRV once before and he faced refusal then. Will his earlier TRV affect the new application?
Thanks
Vin
