Spouse Sponsorship within Canada 2015

I've sent my application on 11th May 2015 under Spouse sponsorship category. Anyone knows does does that application works after you send the application. When do we get the application number so that i can apply for my open work permit. Please help.

You will receive an AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt) that includes your UCI (Unique Client Identification). I am unfamiliar with the Inland times, but for Outland applications, this is between 44 and 55 calendar days. There is an Inland Application thread that may be more helpful to you.

You were supposed to have sent the OWP app along with your inland app.

Hopefully you have maintained your visitor or other status since May 11, since you are not on implied status until you send OWP app.
