Spouse Sponsorship Islamabad Time line on new cases

The processing time on cic website for spouse 16 months. Anybody tell me it really take 16 months or it will complete before 16 months if the case is straight forward.

Please post time line after October 2010.

I think the time line is pretty accurate. It basically means that until the 16 months is up, you cannot start complaining to CIC. Recently, there has been a huge amount of bad publicity about scam marriages from India and Pakistan.

The time line has increased, due to the minority exploiting the Canadian immigration system, which means the majority of genuine cases are paying for this.

I am sorry that your application has gone in at this time but be strong and true. 16 months is nothing for a life time of love.
