hi,

i just send my application last Dec 2012. Im a Temporary foreign worker and my husband is sponsoring me. I just got an email today from CIC-Vegreville that they need more information on Schedule A Background form.

I have a problem here

* arrive Canada July 2009 but started to work on my legal employer in October 2009
*work in Sept 2009 illegally and get a paycheck under my name

Heres the question...

CIC is asking me where am I on July 2009-Sept 2009, if im not working just indicate "UNEMPLOYED"

****should i put
-July 2009-Sept 2009-UNEMPLOYED
or should i also report the SEpt 2009 that im working and i do believe they will caught me that i dont have a valid work permit on that company

im really scared now that they will caught me that i work in Sept 2009 since i have a paycheque and i reported it to CRA..

your help/reply is really appreciated.

Hi,I would just tell the truth,if you lie and they find out then you'll really be in hot water, they might not even give you a chance to explain your self!!-

You're going to have to be honest about this. It was obviously irresponsible of you to work illegally and it could pose an issue in your application. However, since you reported it to CRA, the consequences would be worse if you lied and then they discovered that you were lying.

I hope they are forgiving and I hope things work out for you.

I am just new to Canada during that time and doesnt have much idea how things work. When i arribe in July, my employer have a hard time looking for a place for me since the workplace is out of town and in an Industrial area, which is 3 kilometers away from apartments and there is no bus in that small town. I got frustrated for i dont have money anymore and
Not sure how long will i wait for
My legal employer.
