Hi Guys,
I have a question, I was wondering for my spouse sponsorship visa, I am going to the bank and paying $1040. Now my question is, the bank is only going to give the receipt that shows the total amount that i paid $1040. Now how would CIC know what this is for? I mean do we need to explain to them somehow that for example there is $490 for right of residency fee and stuff?
I was just trying to figure out how are they going to figure out what does $1040 consist of because when we go online to pay I see many options,
so just trying to make sure them somehow I let them know what exactly the fees is for
Thanks,
AK

If you are going to the bank to pay, have you ordered the receipt? It's my understanding that if you're paying at the bank and not online, you need to order the receipt form to bring to the bank with you.

Also, if you're worried that cic won't know what the $1040 is for (however I think they will) you could always just include an additional note along with the receipt.
