Spouse Sponsor + Open work permit

Hello Everyone,

I need a suggestion here. My wife has a PR and am planning to stay with her as I have a TRV. I would like to know:

1. If appled for PR what is the est. Processing time
2. Can I apple for Open Work Permit along with the PR and how long would be the processing
3. Is it good to stay in Canada and apply for OWP / apply from my home country? And the processing time
4. Let's say am in Canada and if I apply for OWP, can I be working for my current company as WFH? Will there be any restrictions?

1. 12 months.

2. If you apply inland, yes. 4 months for the OWP.

3. Posted time is the same. Personal choice whether to apply inland or outland.
