I am permanent resident of canada and i came here as a student.but my boy friend is in Australia, he was student there too.
Last year he applied for PR there, after few months he had a dispute with employer and he filed the case against Employer and applied for protection .
His employer found guilty.
Now he is on applied protection visa and his passport is expired , we contacted so many lawyers everyone says he has to go to India to get his new passport.
My concern is if i am going to Aus now and register my marriage there and he can withdrawal his protection file and go back to home country, can apply for passport and proceed further.
Also our family is not agree for this marriage. but we both want to get married also we are in relationship from last 3 years.
Please members help me , what should i do now, i visited him there last year as well.
Please advise me, is this the good idea or anyone has any other advise?
