I'm concerned that your PR is only a month old & you're already thinking about divorce! If your relationship was less than two years old, you would have been subject to Condition 51, which says you must live together as a couple for two years after arrival. The Government has announced plans to repeal this, but it is currently law.

So if I get divorced now, will I lose my pr status or still it will be active for me? After divorce, we will be living separated.
It's been one year since we got married but we have been away until I arrived here in Canada.

To divorce in Canada, most regions requires the parties to be physically separated for a year before filing.

That said, I also echo BcBoundBoy's concern. Was the divorce planned? Did you claim your PR?

Does your CoPR or PR card have Condition 51 on it? If so, there is the possibility of IRCC or CBSA becoming aware that you are not complying with the condition and starting PR revocation proceedings. Until that actually starts to happen, you need do nothing.
