My husband applied tonight for his SOWP at the Peace Arch Border and was issued 3 years Open Work Permit.. same validity as my PGWP! SOO HAPPY!!!

Look like Delhi is flooded with lots of applications, probably that's the reason online applications are taking so long.

This is my second application. First time I applied when I was on my study permit and was rejected.

This time thankfully it went through.

One other thing I have noticed is that even though I submitted a copy of my initial work permit which was issued for 1 year ( this was later updated to 3 years ) they actually issued the SOWP for 3 years.

Insufficient funds , which didn't make any sense to me because they asked for 10,000 dollars and I showed 14,000 plus.

Also property documents.

Ohh is that it....

We got the same reason + in other reason they mentioned spouse doesn't meet NOC O A OR B. Because cocnsultant dint attach my job offer letter...

but ths time we attached all of them also BC PNP Letter of nomination... So fingers crossed... hoping to hear soon on our med request.

No funds required if you work in NOC O A OR B...

Just your pay stubs and if you filed a tax then attach t4 in case... Job offer letter... with job description. That's all u need. : )
