June 2022? That is so long already for a SOWP - have you submitted webforms?
The good thing is, that your GCMS shows it's approved.
Yeah, I don't know why it's taking so long, the VO is London, UK.
Back in Jan 2023, they asked for ADR on proof of relationship and communication, we submitted 3 days after that and it's been silence since then.

The waiting game is really draining. Have you tried submitting a webform?

I just sent a webform 2 days ago, basically I said that in GCMS it's approved, why still no PPR. I'll see what they say. Although I'm not sure if they will reply to status check webform

Great that pn GCMS it's approved! it's odd that they haven't sent PPR, do you have relatives in Canada who can contact the MP for help? or maybe your employer to follow up.

I'm in Canada, my spouse is outside.
I have been contacting my MP about our PR application (that's another host of issues )
I'm not sure if my MP can also ask about the SOWP since my spouse is outland and I have been bothering too often about our PR app already...

Anyway, she's coming to Canada as tourist/on visitor visa shortly. Maybe she can ask the CBSA officer at the border and see if they can issue the WP right there

Hopefully it can be sorted out soon. Good luck to you and your wife!

I am happy to share my Visa got approved today finally !!!
That is great but except visiting your spouse it doesn’t make sense to move or leave your job given fellowship typically ends at the end of June and there aren’t any pathways to practice medicine in Canada via fellowship. Even though you can practice as a fellow as soon as the fellowship ends you will have to secure a residency and repeat it as a specialist from India. Securing a residency as an IMG is extremely difficult and impossible in some fields. Access to fellowships as IMG is to teach skills so that doctors can bring home the skills to their home country.
