Hi guys

I have one quick question i already did my landing and my wife is schedule to exit canada to pick up our son back home im just wondering is her open work permit still valid? As i know her open work permit is based on my work permit which is already voided when i did my landing?
Thank you for your kind reply.

Your wife must have been declared in your PR application. Why does she *need* an OWP?

Yes it is still valid, since she has not landed yet.

Yes she is declared but i did my landing first so she is still working with an owp based on my wp she is schedule to exit jan20 is she still allowed?

She is probably OK until she re-enters Canada.

They may expect her to complete her landing then as she will have her IM-1 visa in her passport, even if she already has another visa as well. As soon as she lands, all the visas will be cancelled (without prejudice) and the OWP will also be void.

What I don't know for sure is if she HAS to land on re-entry... Maybe that is your plan anyway?
