spouse landing and proof of funds

I landed here 3 months back and my wife is coming now (visa is still valid), I am the principle applicant and I was the one responsible for proof of funds thing, I want to ask if my wife lands here will they ask her anything related to proof of funds or this will be skipped as she was a accompanying spouse.

ciscoccie I have a query as you have gone through same situation. Initially i am planning to land alone and my family will land at later stage. I want to know did you show POF of full family and secondly didn't immigration officer ask why family is not coming with you?

Your wife will not be required to show POF since she is the dependent, not principal applicant. Cheers.

ciscoccie I have a query as you have gone through same situation. Initially i am planning to land alone and my family will land at later stage. I want to know did you show POF of full family Yes, you should be prepared to show POF for the whole family and secondly didn't immigration officer ask why family is not coming with you? They may ask, they may not ask. You simply respond that your famly will join you when you are a bit settled. They are free to join you at any time before their visas expire

Your wife or any other (adult) family member coming for the first time will not require to show POF.
POF is asked by principle applicant and for the first landing only, hence the applicant have to show all family member POF if required.
