Spouse granted - OWP

Dear all,
My wife been granted - OWP ,based on my work permit. I have valid Closed-WP untill Nov 2015.Since my spouse Indian passport expires on jan 2014, the visa is granted upto the expire date.
I guess we can renew the passport at Indian Consulate - Toronto, but how about the OWP - Visa ; should we re-apply to get visa stamped in her passport?
Please advice

Yes you need to file a TRV again to get the visa stamped once the passport is renewed.

Attach a letter with the explanation, should be fine.

sorry to take over ur thread but how long did i take for ur wife to get her OWP? my wife has applied a month ago and still waiting....can you tell me what documents u attach?

Iam on Closed WP, She attached all the documents pertaining to her :
Education
Professional - ( Optional )
Personal (Medical, Marriage , DOB certificate )
Photocopy of my Immigration landing papers and Visa documents )
IMM1295E and IMM5645E forms
She applied on 27/Dec/2012 and recieved on 04/Mar/2013 .Applied from VFS - Bangalore India

I have landed on toronto with a trv upto my husband's work permit expiry date which is Dec 27,2013.

I want to apply for a spousal Open work permit.We both are from India.
