Hi folks, thanks ahead for always being there to answer and guide us:

I am filling up the EE profile and the last section asks for spouse work history. She has some gap in employment and I am confused to how many points we can get.

Her experience is as follow:

2015/aug - present
2015/March - 2015/July (GAP)
2014/Sept - Feb 2015
2013/Jan - Aug 2014

I am wondering since she has a gap in employment (5 months), it is not considered as continuous, will that impact her points we will gather as dependent foreign experience?

If so, how? Can I know the score breakdown impact and maximum points? I could not find it on the website in CIC.

You will not receive any CRS points for foreign work experience of your spouse. Only Canadian work experience of your spouse will results in additional points.

You may as well not list the foreign work experience, because otherwise you will still be asked to collect reference letters for it (which is a big hassle for something that doesn't give you an advantage).

Thanks for the response. No wonder why I could not find foreign work experience points on the website for the spouse.
