I have always been a silent spectator in this forum but now I am so lost that I need some help and guidance.
I have recently completed my MBA and am applying for Permanent residency through the PNP program. My spouse is in India and I am looking for a legal procedure to get him here. If I apply for a PNP and PR keeping my spouse as a dependent, would he be able to apply for a work permit/TRV while the application is being processed? I am still looking for a job and from all my reserach i have found out that he can only get an open work permit based on my employment scenario. His open work permit recently got rejected by the CIC, would this have adverse consequence on his future applications?
