Hello
My spouse sponsored me through outland sponsorship in October 2017 through the Missasgua office.
I am currently in Pakistan and my spouse is in Canada.
  1. Received application on December 5, 2017.
  2. Medical and Police certification completed in February 2018
  3. Sponsorship approval letter received
  4. March 2018, the file was transferred to London office
  5. Application for sponsorship it says decision made
  6. Application for Permanent residence it says in process.
  7. On April 4th 2018, they started processing the Permanent Residence application.
My question is, what is the next step? How long will it take take before they ask for the passport? And after that, in the visa stamping?
I need to go to another country for an important appointment and i am afraid the two things dont clash. So i want an idea that if they have started processing on april 4th, what is the next step and when is it expected?

You're still fairly early in the process. They still have to complete the assessment of your relationship, do background and security checks, etc. Go ahead and travel. Expect the entire process to take about a year. So you likely still have a number of months to wait before they ask for your passport.
