Spouse Account in POF

I have submitted my application on July 13, 2017. I have shown around CAD 21,000 in my name and CAD 8,000 in my wife's name (out of which CAD 4,000 is shown as gift from my father-in-law with gift deed).

I have gone through several threads and found out that some people are saying you need to include a declaration from spouse if you are showing spouse's account in POF. However, my consultant didn't mention this to me. Could anyone please confirm if declaration from my wife is required to show her account balance as POF?

Is your wife accompanying you to Canada? If she is and it's only the two of you, this should not be a problem as just your CAD 21,000 is well above the minimum amount for 2 people.

I submitted POF for me and my spouse using multiple accounts under either my name, his name, or both of us but I made sure those under my name fulfill the minimum.

Actually we showed more than the required as I have CAD 13,000 debt (personal loan and credit card). That's why I used gift deed and spouse's savings to cover the debt amount. Now I am worried as I didn't provide any decleration from spouse.

No need to worry if your spouse is accompanying you to Canada. No letter required..

You can send a declaration via cse plus explanation then call cic just to ease your mind

In my case, I am the primary applicant, But I do not have that much funds in my account. Now to fulfill the minimum eligibility for PoF, I would require my spouse account as well. (She is also accompanying me) Will this suffice?

In our case, My spouse alone can fulfill the PoF requirement.

Is this ok or is it mandatory that the Primary Applicant meets the PoF Requirement.

Will i require an Affidavit from my spouse in this case?

Would be glad if someone can provide clarity

dont need an affidavit... a letter even should suffice in your case.
make sure you put your spouse as accompanying however.

Sorry to hijack this - but I received a deposit (CAD15k ) from my spouse's account, and I am the primary applicant. What do I need to provide as explanation/proof that this is indeed from my spouse's account? I don't want to get his bank letter. Transfer is done.

i have 13k cad in my account...i intend to travel with my partner...we opened a joint account post ita with about 8k cad...i dont know if its safe??any suggestions plz
