Hi Everyone,
I’m holding a permanent resident and currently residing in Canada.I have applied for Spousal PR for my wife and daughter last week. My daughter is just 3 months old. My wife and daughter living alone in India. I need to go back as soon as I can to support them. Is it okay to leave Canada while their application in process? Or should I wait until I get the AOR? Please help me out guys.

You can take short trips (e.g. a few weeks) outside of Canada at any time. However you must continue to live in Canada and spend the majority of your time in Canada until the application is approved. As a PR, it's required that you live in Canada to qualify as a sponsor.
