SPOUSAL TRV AND OPEN WORK PERMIt

My husband is a temporary worker in saskatchewan and about to receive his medical call in a month as he received an email from cic regarding his police certificate. I am currently in pakistan and thinking about options to unite with my husband soon. Should i apply for an open work permit and trv and then submit my spousal file inbound when i go to canada.
Or should i submit my immigration file and then apply for TRV?
What is the best option for me as my husband is about to receive his immigration status and we dont want his file to get pushed back if i apply for my spousal immigration file with his file right now.

You should apply for open work permit... TRV is bad option. Apart from that ask your husband to add your name on PR file so you both get PR at the same time.

My husband has changed his status to married in his pr file and submitted our marriage certificate. What is there to be done about the medical exam everybody is telling me to have

your husband should use the webform(link given above) to inform cic that he has got married and wants to include his wife on the PR application. Upload the marriage certificate, passport biographical pages and any other information he wants to add regarding wife.
