Spousal sponsorship

Hello,
I am a Canadian PR and moved to Canada last year in October. I was planning to go to USA for business visit and stay there for about 6-9 months. If i get married in between that time and come back to Canada with my spouse as she has a Canada visitor visa, then will I be able to sponsor her right away?
Any help in this regards will be appreciated.

Did you become a PR in October or you became a PR before and just moved to Canada in October?

Yes you can sponsor right away as long as you plan on remaining in Canada during the sponsorship.

I became a PR in October 2019, that’s when I entered Canada on my CoPR and was granted the PR status upon entering.
