Hello,

I recently got married and my spouse came to canada with me. I am going to file sponsorship application but it might takes time. Before sponsorhip application, Can I submit work permit IMM 5710 application with the help of my marriage certificate? I am PR holder and my wife is on visitor visa.

No - you can't.

The open work permit application must be submitted together with the inland sponsorship application. If you send the work permit application first, it will be refused.

Hi. I just got married last December. Will br submitting the application package very soon, however, one of the requirements the IRCC needs is an “PSA authenticated marriage certificate”. And that will be available on 4-6months time as per the office. We do have the marriage certificate from the church though. Please help. Thank!

Are you on a work permit or PR holder? you said two different things. If you are on an open work permit you cant sponsor
