Hi,
I came to Canada as an immigrant (permanent resident) on October 2017. But my wife came to Canada on LMIA on June 2017 and after working for one month in July 2017 the restaurant closed for good. Her visa is valid till June 2018. she has not been working from the time the restaurant was closed.

I recently found a full time job at Alberta health and would like to sponsor my wife. I would like to know if there will be any problem if I sponsor my wife

Did you include your wife in your PR application as a non-accompanying dependent? Did she pass a medical and provide PCCs as part of your PR application?

yes i did apply as a non-accompanying dependent because she was already in Canada on work permit. i did not get any request from the immigration for my wife medical and police clearance certificate.
