The issue is that I don't understand how your wife was `declared'? You posted this thread in the Family Class Sponsorship forum, but haven't given us the complete picture.

The other issue is that you should have also provided proof of funds for many of the OINP. At a minimum proving that you have enough savings to not apply for welfare right away like you did is typically required. How did you qualify for OINP and what proof of funds did you provide? Did you provide the same proof when applying to see whether you qualified to welfare?
