Thanks Sis! we are not completely out of the woods yet I just had to request a personal visit for my wife to have her Visa issuance to be completed at the Embassy. She is currently in the Philippines visiting her family. Scheduled to go back to Thailand near the end of this month. She needs her passport to go back to Thailand and also needs her passport to close off her Thai work resident statuses before departing for Canada.

Hoping the Embassy will grant a personal visit as its very difficult to be able to send her passport in when its required for everything she is currently involved with.

Be patient I know how difficult it is being separated, the worry of not knowing what is going on. Have you ordered any GCMS notes yet? You might choose to have the sponsor do so as it gives a little insight as to what is happening with your application.

Hi friends,
Question,can i forward additional documents(proof) to cic even though it wasn't requested?
I have included the stamps on our passports as proof of our travels outside the country but the front page of the passport i included was my husband's new passport so the pages with stamps and the front page doesn't match.
Has anyone here tried sending documents proactively?
