My spouse applied in January 2020 and she got pre-arrival letter although this is my second Marriage.Means bit comlicated case but still got Pre-Arrival letter in 14 months ,(16 march )definately the file was in some smart and active migration officer hands

What date did you apply in January? Did you get any adr or remedical yet?

Post-transfer really. Not just when received at the visa office it is sent to, but some other stuff like entered into registry, assigned to an officer, etc. Details may vary.

I am guessing me have to wait get AOR2 because my ECAS is “in-process” around 3 days ago.

Not all offices send aor2. I don't know specific link to ecas steps - and I'm skeptical anyone does, possibly including those inside ircc.

Change in status in ecas means something happened. That's better than nothing happened.

is it common for LVO to send a AOR2 after receiving the application from sydney??

No not necessarily. Best indication is that PA side will change back to "In process" a second time and you'll see a line saying " We started processing your application on Xx/xx/2021".

Yes - you can. Just have to give the medical inside Canada. Find out the correct hospital from CIC website, since you can only get it done from an approved facility.

Thanks for the answer! My medical expired in February. I'm thinking about applying for tourist visa and just was curious if I get a visa and go to Canada and receive remedical while I'm there.
